The moth as prescient

As progenitor
the tallow color
reminiscent of flame
 wax impression

The pull into
what will pass
the flutter
flutter, flutter
into what was
manmade
or conjured into light
into heat
the suspension of all
belief
the passing into
what a moth
thinks is a way out
the light merely an opening
to the outside
